2nd September was Sedan day, marking the 134 anniversary of the deciding victory in the Franco-Prussian war and probably the greatest victory of GFM Moltke, probably the greatest German soldier of all times.
Up till 1918 this day was the German national holiday.

Well, thanks

I see no reasom for bashing. Most nations were formed in the aftermath of war and every war has losers. France was often enough a winner, had that not been the case, the nation wouldn't exist now.

What the hell you are talking about, at sedan they won the battle fair and square. They deserved their victory and it was a glorious moment for Germany.

My respect to Bismarck, the man was truely great.
