What's so special about the chariot? I see the bladed wheels, and the horses with spears sticking out in front, and the archer aiming at his own horse's arse.

Nothing really, just the spears protecting the horses. A common feature in many cultures...

The Archer is shooting at his left side, not at the horse's ass
