I would like to know the opinion of non Greeks of how many people they know actually beleive the false claims of a people who entered the Balkan region in the 7th century AD.
And who for some reason claim a history a thousand years earlier than they existed.
Your opinions as a third party would be welcome.

The Macedonianns are essentialy a branch of the Bulgars, so they are a Turkic people who have accquired a Slavic tongue.
They are not the same people as the Macedonians of Alexander. Alexander was a Greek, although not the same kind of Greek as an Athenian or and inhabitant of the Dodecanese.
The fact remains though that the Ancent Macedonians followed Greek culture and worshipped the Ancient Greek Religion. As to what language they spoke it is still disputed. Yes, they did speak Greek, but they may also have had another language which they used amongst themselves, but this probably would have been a dialect of Greek.

Well said Darada.
Can i ask is it true that the persians, even modern persians refer to Alexander (Iskander) as the Greek devil?
Which if it is true seriously undermine the slavs arguments thus far.

I dont know about the devil part, but not only Iranians but all Asian people refer to Alexander as a Yunaani (Greek).
In Pakistan Sikandar is held in high regards and many tribes claim descent from his army. Ask any villager from the mountains of the Hindukush about others who figured in their history such as Ashoka, Kanishka, Qutaiba bin Muslim and Mahmud Ghaznavi and they will probably ask you if they live in Islamabad.
But everyone would have heard of Sikandar and will recount that he was the greatest King that ever lived........
