I have a question...when I tend to talk to people about ww2 and the German invasion of Russia, is it actually true or anything proof that some russian soldiers were limited 1 gun per two men? Any clarification would help, thanks
Saw the movie "Enemy at the Gates", the main character (Jude law) was given a clip of bullets and no rifle. He was told to wait for guys with rifles to get kill and then pick up a weapon. LOL

Visible proof might be hard to find. Just find recollections of Stalingrad veterans (I believe there were 460 that made it out of the original 10,000) and check that.

'Guru Nanak, the founder of the religion, preached oneness of God and brotherhood of man. At that time Hinduism and Islam were the predominant religions in India; and relations between the two communities were not good. Guru Nanak preached dignity of man and tolerance for the viewpoint of others: "The World is burning, O Lord, Save it, O Save it, by whichever door it pleases thee."

Codala,that is bs
Dont take it seriously..Russians lost a lot during 41-42 but "1 gun for 4 men " ? Some partisans maybe (or the other cases such as Vjazma 42)
It was not true at the start but the USSR lost so many wepons in the first few weeks they could not make replacements fast enough.
See Stalingrad by Antony Beevor
Wepons facory were moved on mass to beyond the Uriels which mad matters worse.
Post 1942 there were enogh wepons for all.
Saying that If the USSR transport sytem woked better more wepons could have reached the 62nd army
