Medieval Ship

I wondered if somebody with perhaps more knowledge on Medieval ships than me could verify if this ship is from the time that is suggested.

<a href="http://shipmodeling.info/early_ships/early_ships.htm</a" target="_new" rel="nofollow">http://shipmodeling.info/early_ships/early_ships.htm</a>; - click on North European Merchant Ship.

It's got a pretty advanced rig including a for-and-aft rigged lateen sail on the mizzen. The time suggested is 1375 and more unusual its of Northern European origin.

By the way, that's a good site for anyone interested in historical European and Middle-Eastern ships.

that looks late medieval (XV century) but not very accurate

the prow is a very advanced one but it lacks of the quarterdeck

probably the artist hadn't a real knowing of the matter as commonly happened

but some of the ships of that period had a tall prow and a low quarterdeck frequently with a tent

but in the drawing the quarterdeck is quietly inexistent

It said it was taken form a seal of Boston in Lincolnshire. What about the sail? Do you think it is accurate?

the sail is a reinforced one very common during the middle age, particularly in the northern sea

as a general the drawing may be of a sweet water boat or of a coastal one more then of one used on open sea

but there is the problem ancient drawings aren't generally realistic ones you should ask for someone more expert then mine
