When I first researched High PSI portables a few months ago I did some searchin' and bookmarked tons of links for later reference. Figured I'd post them, listing all the high PSI portables in one thread so people could have a reference to look at on the board with pictures and specs.

If you've owned any of these, please feel free to give your opinion of it, aprx cost, etc.

Maybe we can have a supplier like John or Scott list the retails prices for some of these so that we can get an idea on relative price.

Some of these come with auto dump/fill standard and some have it as an added option. Also some of the later ones require you to "upgrade" to a higher psi pump to be able to do tile and grout cleaning.

in no particular order:

The Terminator 1200 aka: US Product King Cobra 1200

Also, based on my research it's cheaper to buy the Terminator as the US Products machine. Seems to be mark up on the Terminator. The King Cobras are usually white as pictured above and the Terminators are usually blue.
As far as I know, the terminator is rebranded for turbo-force.com who makes the Turbo Hybrid tool.

This appears to be a re-branded Hydro-Tech 1500. There seem to be some slight differences and more options but they physically look identical. And as I look at the pricing, it seems to be slightly cheaper as well. hhmmmm

If you're looking to achieve High PSI without the portable check out the
Water Otter and read about it in this thread.

If anyone knows of any other high psi portables, please chime in and add them here...

Chris

This has made the search sooooo much easier to look at and compare. Do, however, put George's link in there, to be fair to him. He deserves it.

Prices

December 27 2005, 1:43 PM

The Olympus M1200 includes auto fill and auto-dump features. The list price is $3639.

The FX8-88HP also includes the auto-fill and auto dump. The list price is $3949.

The U.S. Products King Cobra 1200 PSI model retails for around $4700.

As discussed in other threads, It is a nice machine. But, personally I would buy a carpet cleaning portable and a high pressure Olympus portable for Tile & Grout. Two machines for less than the price of the one U.S. Products machine.

I won't get into a price "Qoute" War with Scott. If you would like to know what I can work up for you email or call me.

Just read between the lines. You have one person trying to sell you TWO machines i.e. Twice the work/Twice the Time/for you = Twice the commission for him.

Or someone that likes to work SMART not HARD and won't blow smoke up your (_*_). As I said before I would make more money telling you the same thing Scott has been trying to sell you. I "CAN"~Keyword~ Sell each of those machines but how am I helping you by selling you MORE STUFF then you need.

Call me and I will be happy to break it all down for you. When you add it all up what Scott is Telling you will cost you MORE in the long run then paying a little more up front but making it up 100fold on the back end. Kind alike how their financial services run. Cost them a little more up front to let you out the door with a machine but rest assured they will get theirs out of YOUR Back end

On the subject of re branded HydroTech HT 1500 above. While both use the same shell design (Timbucktoo mfg.), HydroTech builds portables and tools to their specs and include all the extras such as auto fill and auto dump, safety shutoffs, and relief valve. They are also comparatively priced.
