i've only played the demo on xbox 360 and it is lots of fun. i am disappointed to see that it has no airplanes like on the PC. you guys that play on PC's, do you have special controllers? or do you just use the keyboard. How easy is it to play from the keyboard?

I still play Battlefield 1942 (mostly because i kick ass there) but yes i use a joystick for flying. Much better control once you get the hang of it. But keyboard/mouse probably has the edge for precision on aiming, but not enough of one to make me switch back.

Flying in Bf1942 was imo much more fun then in bf2.
Bf2 makes flying to easy.

a friend told me the same thing about 1942. do many people still play it? i am trying to decide if i should buy bf2 on the pc (i'd prefer it on the 360 after all the money i spent on the thing lol). maybe i'll get 1942 for the pc instead. i hope it is cheaper now?

Well i play on Australian based servers and there is always 1 or 2 fairly full ones, and up to 4 or 5 at peak times.

I imagine the US would have alot more.

The big differences in Flying in BF1 is that its a little more graceful i guess, BF2 is more about straight up power.

dude u dont play first person shooters with a controler but with the mouse and keyboard which works great!
