I wasn't impressed by Germany personally. As usual they are the biggest sob on the ground but the Italians aren't bad at that too and play better.

Italy is the dangerous team.
Now that many of the big shots have disapeared (holland, brazil, argentina, etc) their world cup is just starting... as usual.
I hope the germans will send them back home thanks to their supporters'support, but I forecast an uggly tricky game --> go Germany
Portugal returns to its favorite "underdog" role and France will have to fight against herself to stay motivated after this wonderful game against Brazil.

Well, let's be carefull. France uscillates between incredible when we are unbeatable and garbage. It's mre true in Rugby than football but still...
So let's stay very concentrate against Portugal. It gona a be very difficult match.

I'd rather play Brasil than play Italy. Go luck to the Germans, it gona be hard.

For they are playing the most attractive football of the teams left. That of course doesn't mean that they are the "best".

I think that you shouldn t burry to fast Italia.
They did a very good match for the quarter.
Moreover (i didnt saw the whole match but that was whatour speaker said), that Argentina got the match in his hand before stopping to attack and basically let Germany come back. The German suffered for a long time play this kast match, and to finish (written somewhere) Klose signed 40% of the whole german goal. So if you find something to block him, you give a nice hit to the german attack. And the Italian playstyle was based on a serius defense since like what, decades.
Germany have their long range shooter too to make the difference.
And we can bet too that Germany will attack more than Italia (as usual), discovering his defense, and Italia have those good fast counter attack guys.
Ahhhh that match will be so interesting if both play well ! I can t wait :D

i don´t fear italy nor france or portugal.
argentina was the only team germany had to fear and they´re out. same goes for brazil. (lol in the last 3 minutes they had more shots on the goal and more chances than in the whole game. well, they deserved to go home for not taking the other teams seriously)

all of a sudden France has become a serious title candidate.
They barely qualified themselves for the WC, barely qualified in their group and barely qualified.
Yet they played very well against Brazil
I don't know what to think of the French team, they can play greatly but they can also play like amateurs.
France on a good day can win against Portugal, otherwise they'll lose badly.

We will take it this time its already 16 years since last time, so its our turn again. Italy may have it next time but not in Germany.
Seriously, Italy is more a defense structure, thats just what we are looking for. Against Sweden it took 4 Minutes to break in, against Argentina it took 80 Minutes, but at one Point we will find the weakness. If it takes another Penalty i already see the Spaghetti sprangled crying faces

One may not like their style of football, but the germans were very strong in their heads against Argentina. That's exactly what they'll need against Italy.
I just wish the FIFA had banned the "fakers" from this final phase of the World Cup:
Especially Henry, Ballack, half of the Italian team and Figo who is ruining every game he is in.

Well, the most difficult match today. Italy is really a hard opponent and our record against them is bad. On top of that Frings will be missed....
I hope they go out and play attractive, offensive football and let the crowd inspire them to success.

They weren't That good against Argentina, a lot of mistakes and aproximative pass, little precision. If the Argies had continued to play the second half like they played the first they may had been able to score.
May be Italian players dive, but Germans aren't that clean too, far from it. Worse you never know if they are ready to break a key player. Beware your legs Italians.
Still Italy is likely to win this one (unfortunatelly I would have loved France had the possibility to win the WC in Germany against Germany, what a class )
Portugal are the worse: they dive and cheat like Italians and Germans but may be ready to break like Germans.
One important parameter of the France vs Portugal match is the number of Yelow card: 6 for France, 5 for Portugal. If one get an other yelow card he wont play the final
And Zidane have one ..
The Portuguese will play the semi as if it was the last match.
But the French dream to defeat Germany in Germany (WC is already really great but beating Germany in Germany would be a plus )
So the risk is that France had to fight Germany with some key players missing because they gof 2 yelow card. One of the worse scenario. Tricky, specially when you know that Portugal may have to be taught respect the hard way.
You'll need to be good there too France. GO ! that's the last one before the final. After, if we are still here, it will be simpler:

Diving? Yes, Ballack for example dove against Argentina, but he WAS it with the hand in his face. So it is not a dive, but an exaggerated fall, still not nice, but in these times common enough to go under competitive mindset and not cheating. Everyone does it.
Breaking legs? This is not 1982. Germany is the fairest team remaining in the competiotion with 0 red and only a few yellow cards. That suspension of Frings is ridiculous, he acted in self defense.
Doesn't matter. I hope we proceed and actually should we fail I would wish France would win it. I am indifferent to most players, but I would wish it to Zidane and Sagnol.

Portugal can do nothing but dive,except for their keeper.
Argentina was a hard opponent for For Germany.They had some foults but still but im very confident that they beat italy.
Imo Italy was very lucky so far..
They properly had one of the easiest groups,compared to englad or france for example.
the 2 knock out games must have been a joke compared to the opponents of the other teams.
France had 2 top teams(Spain,Brazil),Portugal also 2 very good (England,Holland),Germany had Argentina and sweden,which managed to tie england.And Italy??
Australia?
Great and kidn team but only fair soccer.
Still only the equalizer after a penalty dive in the last minute....
Ukraine?
Except For Chefchenko(dunno if spelling is right)Their players weren World cup Nivaou.
Against Italy,they played the worst game they played so far in thhis cup.
