the italian marco materazzzi probaly said: ****ing arab or dirty arab or dirty muslim or else I can't understand that anger. Men I liked Inter Milan but after today they must send materazzi away or I will hate them
Italy played bad after the first half, they couldn't get 3 good passes in a row.
Italy is a deserved winner of the cup overall though, no question about that.
Don't try this at home lads
"The enemy dies relaxed," observed a Lockheed Martin manager.
I'm sorry but you guys are sick, what Zidane did was absolutely wrong and just stupid. He's let his team and himself down. Italy i wouldn't say are the best team in the world, they were awfully boring in the 2nd half and extra time but they took some exceptional penalties.

The sick guy humiliated you in 98 and in 2006! Fcuk off loser!
"he italian marco materazzzi probaly said: ****ing arab or dirty arab or dirty muslim"
Well we have to just wait! I think Zidane will talk to the press and will explain everything! But I think the guy deserved the kick! It was one of the best kick of Zidane!
"Italy is a deserved winner of the cup overall though, no question about that."
Italy sucked after the first half of the game! There is no way that they deserved to win!
"hey should not have substituted Henry"
Henry is just a fat ass! He is just a usless mother ****er! He was just sitting there and waiting for the ball to come to him! He did fcuk all during the whole game! But Ribery, I do agree! The guy is a real fotball player! He was running like crazy everywhere, shoot, pass, shoot.
Zidane is and he will always stay the best player in the world! The one who gave France his first world cup and ****ed all the brazilians in 1998 and 2006!
Zizou tu es le meilleur!

Canada's first supersonic fighter plane The Avro Arrow, a sleek white jet interceptor developed in Malton, Ontario in the 1950s, could have been many things. It might have become the fastest plane in the world, our best defence against Soviet bombers, the catalyst to propel Canada to the forefront of the aviation industry!
Forza Azzuri!!! Les noires are going home, and monsier Zidabe proved to be a total monkey, shame on him and his vulgaric behaviour. I've been playing football for 15 years and the amount of swearing during the game is unstoppable. If tio Zidane thought he couldn't take the heat, he should have got his pension much earlier. And of course all the typical whinners-loosers have lost all their money again!!!
Anyway, our brothers the Azzuri won the Mundial and that's all that matters!!!
And if you want to know who started all this maddnes, here you go:

Zidane isn't as calm(one may say professional) as Inzaghi, Rui Costa or Shevchenko. Thats it...
I know Materazzi very well, but this was the Mundial final, and Zidane seemed as if he forgot that. Acting like an ass infront of the cameras was big mistake and the whole team paid for his hooligan performance, not much on the pitch as much as in terms or PR. This is not Mundial football, I'm sorry.

I dont care, Zidane was my hero before the game, he still is after the game.
All you nuts talking **** about him here:
He is the best football player since Pele, you cant have the good with the bad.
The bad he has a temper, with his first club, Brodeux, the coaches knew he was excellent but did not let him play for that reason and the coach worked with him on his anger, looks like the seals have come undone.
Dirty cheap italian, he must have said something racist. From rumors, I hear he said something like "your 'just' an arab." You would never see anyone on the french side doing the same thing b/c most of them have experienced racism and know how bad it feels. So to the whops, up yours
I don't care what the was said, Zidane had no right doing something as stupid as that. Giving someone a blow in the heart region, especially when you're pumping with adrenaline can be quite dangerous. You can't go around kicking everyone for something they've said, not on or off the pitch. The only difference is, Zidane might receive a ban (a bit moot, seeing it's his last match) and if this had happened off the pitch, you'd be arrested.
Arrested? You are not a law student or law practitioner are you? There are special provisions in the law about actions after provocations. If for example in a traffic jam one starts insulting you and you got out of your car and start punching him there is a good chance he canąt do anything against you in a court.
Italy floats in soccer heaven
Night of wild celebrations for Azzurri's fourth World Cup (ANSA) - Rome, July 10 - After a night of wild celebrations, Italy is preparing to welcome home the Azzurri heroes who gave the nation its fourth World Cup Sunday .
"It's All True - Champions of the World," read Monday's front-page headline of sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport, above a photo of captain Fabio Cannavaro holding high the sport's most sought-after trophy .
"The Italy of Champions," declared Milan-based daily Corriere della Sera .
The Azzurri return from Germany Monday afternoon for a victory party at Rome's Circus Maximus, the site of an ancient chariot-racing arena. AS Roma and Italy star Francesco Totti said he wants at least "two million" fans to come .
With the match tied at 1-1, Italy beat France 5-3 on penalties in Sunday's final .
Palermo left-back Fabio Grosso nailed the winning spot-kick, sparking celebrations that lasted till dawn .
Fans sprayed each other with prosecco sparkling wine - French champagne was avoided - and launched the so-called 'carousel' of people buzzing around in cars and scooters, waving flags and hooting their horns .
Some even squeezed into the open boots of automobiles, while others cruised around on the roofs to get a better view of the parting and groups of friends piled into the backs of trucks .
One of Rome's famous 'speaking statues' - which have been used for centuries by local people for graffiti poking fun at the authorities - featured a notice announcing the death of French football .
"In 25 years time, when today's generation of children are adults, Italy's World Cup celebrations will stay in their memories," wrote Gianni Riotta in Corriere della Sera .
"July 9 2006 will be alongside joys like a wedding with confetti or a sand castle at the beach with a child ". The unofficial anthem of the victory was the "po-po-po-po-po-po-po" riff of the White Stripe's song 'Seven Nation Army' - some fans changed the lyrics to "the cham-pions of the wor-ld" .
The tune was originally adopted as a soccer chant by AS Roma fans and was then adopted for the national side .
There was also plenty of chanting casting aspersions about the villain of the night - France's Zinadine Zidane, who was sent off for head-butting Italy defender Marco Materazzi .
Curiously the two players were also the protagonists of the main events of the match during regular time. After just six minutes Materazzi tripped France's Florent Malouda in the penalty area and Zidane chipped in the resulting spot-kick .
The Inter stopper soon made amends, heading home the equalizer at the other end. Materazzi also scored one of Italy's five penalties in the shoot-out .
"It is the greatest (feeling of satisfaction) of my life," said Azzurri coach Marcello Lippi .
"I won the Champions League and the Intercontinental Cup with Juventus, but the World Cup transmits other types of emotions" .
AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso said the match-fixing scandal that threatens to see his club relegated, along with three others - Juventus, Lazio and Fiorentina - actually helped the Azzurri at Germany 2006 .
"Without the scandal we would not have won this World Cup," the player said. "It gave us strength and team spirit" .
Italy's three previous World Cup wins came in 1982, 3-1 against West Germany; in 1938, 4-2 against Hungary; and in 1934, 2-1 against Czechoslovakia .

I am, and such special provisions do not exist here. The only way you could get away with it, is when it is in defence of yourself, someone else or your property; I doubt that's the case here...

Provoked and unprovoked (planned) behavior is treated the same by the law in your country? Highly unlikely. Where are you from?
I'm from the Netherlands and rules for using violence are quite clear; only in self-defence and even then, that has to be the only option. However, this does to mean provoked violence is dealt with the same way as unprovoked (penalty wise), but is never legal.
