yadesh bekheir. cool videos and a once great ali karimi but he should be kicked out of team melli. he has completely lost his techniques, skills and the hunger for reaching something. i donīt blame him. itīs bayern which destroys our players. the same was with hashemian.
his play has become so bad itīs unbelievable. it is not the same karimi who played "maradonnic football" against ireland or the karimi of the asian cup. his first game from bayern against leverkusen was cool too though.
nontheless he now has become a crappy player and even wants to change to an austrian club.
throw him out and give chances to our young talents such as shojaei. the same applies to mahdavikia. he has become bad too.
spain threw raul and england beckham out. the same has to happen with karimi and mahdavikia. (and enayati, majidi, fekri and nikbakht too)

Now, Bayern did certainly not make him bad. He simply couldn't play himself into the starting 11. He played/ plays in the right or offensive midfield and in these positions we have many good players like Deisler, Van Bommel, Dos Santos, Salihamidzic etc.
I would agree that the coach, Magath, who I don't rate highly, did not give him many chances, but often preferred the ineffective Santa Cruz.
When Deisler is fit again, he should have a good chance to claim the right midfield position. i too would suggest Ali Karimi to move to another club to get more chances.
I agree with Reaver Bayern isn't what made him "bad", its more competetive than making the iranian team and you have to raise your game level. Some of his tricks were pretty cool though, btw who won the Asian player of the year in 2005 and whose gonna win it this year?

well these players play all in a similar position at Bayern:
Karimi
Scholl
Dos Santos
Santa Cruz
Salihamidzic
Deisler
Van Bommel
Out of those when fit, Deisler is the best. I don't rate Van Bommel, but he is not bad and certainly better than karimi for whatever reason. Salihamidzic is past it, so is Scholl. Santa cruz is useless and Dos Santos doesn't get a chance like Karimi.
I really don't give a rat's @$$ about AFC, what a corrupt circus they run. Last year's winner was Al Montashari, a Saudi defender. For anyone with half a brain, it should be obvious that Park Ji Sung should have been the no contest winner by a mile. He had his best season with PSV Eindhoven, was instrumental in its semi-finals Champion's League run (should have been in the finals instead of AC Milan whom they totally outplayed), and wrapped up a successful transfer to one of the most prestigious clubs on the planet, Manchester United. No other Asian player was even close to having his credentials, but literally days before the winner was decided, the AFC suddenly announced that all Asian players playing club football outside the continent would lose their eligibility for the award. Sheer rubbish, a totally inexcusable and incomprehensible decision. Ali Karimi won the award in 2004 with Bayern as with many European-based Asian players before him, a player of Park's caliber does not belong in any domestic $hit leagues of Asia, as long as he's playing well overseas as a representative of his country, does it really matter at all where he plays? It looks to me that the Saudi Football Association bribed AFC officials for the award. If that's the case, they are truly sad. It's a meaningless piece of silverware from an insignificant governing body that even Asians don't care about. I'm not mad about Park not getting the stupid award, I'm just angry at the AFC's lack of recognition for Park's achievements through their actions.
So all those in the running for the 2006 AFC Player of the Year award can start making their bids if they're in need of a token award to make up for their lack of REAL footballing achievments. Korea, Japan, Iran, Australia should break away from AFC and let these clowns run their circus without us. They are an embarassment.
Henceforth, our new governing body will be known as "Asians That Don't Suck + Australia Football Federation"

i agree completely with you, joon. that piece of sh1t organization afc is worse than the african federation. honestly, the 4 countries you mentioned should join the african federation. they have tougher and better teams and competition will be better. our teams wonīt develop that much in asia if there is that big qualitative difference between the asian nations and especially with those corrupt pigs running the afc it doesnīt make any sense staying there.
LOL the game iran-china in the semi-finals is a good example for the corruption ridden junk. ali karimi was fouled tactically and the chinese should have got a red card (got yellow instead) and one of our players was red carded who wasnīt even on the pitch.

look how beautifully he played and how he tricked the whole german defence.
now i donīt say that it is solely bayern to blame. no, he himself has lost the hunger and doesnīt struggle anymore or doesnīt seem wanting to show his skills. now there was the injury before the world cup and he was 3 months injured but i am mad at him because he doesnīt give his best.
but regarding bayern: in the squad he belongs to those to be technically the most skilled but he is rarely given a chance, even the bayern fanbase in the bayern forum say this.

Problem with Karimi is he may be technically great, but otherwise he is just average compared to the others in the Bundesliga. He lacks speed, defensive qualities and stamina to compete in that team.
"look how beautifully he played and how he tricked the whole german defence."
Impressive! The sad thing is that was only 2 years ago. How old is Karimi? He reminds me of Rivaldo during his prime. Who just like Karimi has dropped big time, though I'm pleased to say he's playing pretty good for Olyiampiakos.

True injuries can have an awful effect, not to mention when you get older the hunger and drive goes down.

German football isn't meant for that type of style, their very bland, practical type.
@Reaver How's Ze Roberto been doing for Bayern? Last year I heard he was rather mediocre. Did okay in the world cup.
