How many of you play wc3 here? I mean competitively. I play on gg client and sometimes on bnet. Was an eswc semi-finalist in my country. Lost to the guy who beat GoStop at eswc 2006. Lemme have a show of hands here. Maybe we can have a few games of wc3 ft.

wc3 is old dude.

I never got into it because one freakin hero can destroy an enitre army or two by him/her self!!

I cannot stand RTS games with this hero building crap within the game itself (fun for a campiegn but not in a Multiplayer).

wc3 is still second only to starcraft. It's the de-facto game for every major tournament in the RTS division. Yes its old but its harder than every single RTS out there. Max pop is limited to a 100 so you have to micro every single unit like a bitch.

no way can a hero destroy an entire army (unless that army just plain sucks). heros usually make the armies better and if you have a well balanced army even a completely leveled up hero can't kill them all by himself.

I am playing warcraft.. but only DOTA All-Star .. not ladder games... however, my ex roomate + his brother play alot... I think there are ranked top 10 US East.

I was playing about 3 months ago, but just for fun, nothing more. I just bought Starcraft off ebay...I've been wanting to get back to that game for a long time.

Woah oki, top 10 on any realm is an incredible achievement.

I played a lot of 2v2 ladder with a squadmate about a year and a half ago, but haven't played the game at all in about at least 6 months. Was a great game for it's time though, but now I am playing Dawn of War, SupCom, Company of Heroes and C&C3. Look for us pretty much any night in lobby 30 for C&C3 and in CoH, DoW, SupCom late evenings US Time.


The truth is out there - you just may not like hearing it.

I can't play any of those games. : (. Laptop doesnt have a separate port for a vid card and my desktop is in a land far, far away : (.

C&C 3 managed to run at the lowest settings, but as soon as i moved my mouse to look at unexplored terrain, the game crashed. LOL.
