They were bad, but it was expected. Now, if they lose to Samoa, that would be really pathetic.

Well it was certainly expected that they would lose, but not that they would fail to score a single point! Yes, the SAs have a formidable defense, but come on now. Even the Japs managed to put points on the board against Australia.
After this performance, I find it difficult to imagine that the English have any chance of advancing very far in this tournament. There were doubts about the team concering the whole backbone pretty much being injured, and imho these doubts have been fully confirmed in the worst way tonights. Plus of course Robinson is now among the ranks of the injured as well.
