Has anyone played it yet? I'm hearing that this game is likely the PS3 game of the year with its slick graphics, realistic combat, and sick multiplayer. If you have played it, your opinions and reviews will be much appreciated as I'm planing to make this purchase.

I've already pre-ordered it. The demo comes in a few hours at the EU PSN. Every video I've seen looks great, probably the best FPS since COD4 and the best graphics of this generation so far.

Damnit, it's still not in my Playstation Store. Do you have to have the preorder to get the demo?

The only way to download it off our (U.S.) Store is to have preordered it through Gamestop; they would have given you a voucher with a code you'd redeem on the Store to get it. Now your only options are to either make a European PSN account and get it off their store, or wait till the 26th (one day before Killzone 2 hits retail) and download the demo then, as that's when Sony is putting it up for the public.

Dont buy this game i found it to be very hard to play ,good i didnt buy it other wise i would be regretting it now . The best thing to do is to rent it out or download it (demo) from PSN .

Change the controls to "alternate 2" choose toggle for the aiming and you will like it better, it takes time to get used to it, especially for a COD "freak" like you. Also adjust the sensitivity on both axes, it helps a lot.

Just downloaded and played the demo today. I have to say that even on alternate 2, the controls are still sluggish compared to COD. Trying to wrestle my assualt rifle sight on to the enemy soldier is a challenge in itself. However, I guess Killzone2 with its nonresponsive controls incorporates more realism than any COD game.
