What year does the grand campaign end? Does it vary on every nation? why is it that in the old medieval total war it would go up to 1450's but in mtw2 it says i have 120 turns left at the late 11th century, please dont tell me the game ends at late 12th century, isnt it too early, i want to conquer the whole world...

If thats the case is it 3 x 225 turns, that would be ****ing brilliant, 3 ages, i swear, i will conquer the world before the 3rd age..

Think it speeds up/slows down as the game progresses iirc. I.E. one turn = 2 years for a while before changing to one turn = 1 year etc. Can't remember honestly.

But I do remember that whilst the game 'ends', you can continue playing when the 'time is up'.

Might be 1500ish from memory but if you get all your objectives you can keep on playing indefinitely. I think I was playing as the English and fighting the mongols in Russia in about 1600 on my last save.
