In Call of Duty 4 why do the rifles such as the m4 or m16 shoot in burst mode? Some players drop modified guns where the m16 or m4 isnt in burst mode, how can i modify my m16 or m4 to switch from burst mode into normal? i hate shooting and knowing that i cant machine-gun 4 players in one room...

tezel you cant modify (auto /non ) the weapons in call of duty .


The only weapon that shoots in bursts is the m16 the m4 shoots fully auto .you cant change that . This is one of the reasons i dont use the m16 .

I think your problem is with the perks . The perks have diffrent options from defencive to offencive . The closest your going to get the m16 to full auto is if you use the "double tap" perk .This perk shoots twice as many bullets
