I'm a Herfølge fan, and I'm trying to get enough info on him to write up a little article for the major fan website: http://www.herfolge.dk/
I'd love to include fans opinions from as many of his former clubs as possible, so if anyone's got an opinion they want to share, I'd love to read it!
So far fan reactions here have been mixed. Many are afraid his level is not high enough - mainly beacuse we don't really have any idea what level the Canadian/North American leagues hold. I'd never heard of the CPSL until I started reasearching Gbeke. (I knew about MSL and the A-league (is that the one called USL League 1?)).
Others have been quite exited - for several reasons: a) Canadian players are rare, i.e. exotic. b) he is reported to have scored an amazing goal in his first training match (against Danish 1st division side A.B.), c) the coaches are very exited about his talents. (The coaches are two former Danish internationals, ex-Tottenham, Watford player Allan Nielsen and ex-Kaiserslautern player Michael Schjønberg).
Anyone know a link to a web site with very easily understood overview of how the leagues in Canada and the US is structured? MLS on top, then USL/A-league? In Canada then CSPL?
