Walking Seperate Paths - ***Author's Note***

Hi everyone! I just wanted to thank everyone who's given me such lovely feedback to work with over the past month!

As you can proably tell by now, what started out as a minor brainstorm of mine has been hit by the crack monkey, and blossomed from an original 10 chapter vignette into an epic. I'm sorry, every time I think I'm done there just seems to be more, More, MORE! LOL!

Anyway, I just wanted to amend a few things. I've been writing this as an NC-17 fanfic, which means, among other things, that this is not a fanfic for the faint of heart. I've talked to a few people who said that they were disturbed by the subject matter in the fic, and my advice to you is that you need to HEED the warnings! I've touched on all I'm going to touch on with 3rd person child abuse, but Chris' first person memories are not going to be pretty. I'm not going to be obscene, or graphic, but it may be disturbing.

I'm writing about death, abuse, rape, and murder. These are very heavy subjects, and if you find that you can't continue, don't read past the disclaimer.

Whew...now that that's done, I wanted to update the header and pairings a bit. I've recently branched off into a series of O'Reilly/Alvarez vignettes in other fics, and although their relationship will not be the focus of this story, I think it's just too obvious a connection to ignore. I know the past few chapters have been really deep, but Chapter XV should be up by tomm, or the next day, and we can get on with the smut!
