If the righteous don't judge, who will?

"...Judge not, lest you be judged..."

Quote:
God. Only HE is righteous.

That is - while it may be OK for you and I and A4C to judge actions - only HE can judge souls. Only HE knows what is in the heart.

David was a king, kings judge don't they?

It is written: if a man sheds blood, by man shall his blood be shed. Genesis 9-6. Obviously, it is man's job to judge man, not God's.

Exodus 2-14. And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? Thinkest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely the thing is known.

Chapter18-13. And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood about Moses from the morning unto the evening.

21. Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating unjust gain; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
22. and let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge themselves: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.

Robert -
The "unrighteous" judge us every day, but they are judging our actions according to men - not our hearts according to Jesus Christ.
Kings, presidents, police officers, soldiers, you and I - all of us judge actions and react to those actions, according to the current "law of the land". The pharisees judged according to God's commandments. The things men judge are different than those things God judges.

We're talking apples and oranges, brother.

That's right, I'm talking about justice, and you're talking about something that doesn't exist.

Ahhh! Your posts are so clear now!

You do know, don't you, that this is a Christian forum, right? Or are you one of those once banished who is back under a different name? Hmmm. Probably.

Are you one of those who so hates your own life that you have decided everything wrong with you is the fault of Christians? Are you so bored that practicing hate towards Christians on anonymous websites is the only sport in which (you believe) you excel? Or, are you so lonely this is the way you seek attention?

Jesus can help you if you just ask Him.

Just a note that the word JUDGMENT does not have to always indicate CONDEMNATION. For example, the scripture that JUDGEMENT must begin in the house of the Lord is NOT condemantion because the believer is never judged in that regard. (Romans 8:1,2)

Its kind of like going to the fair and AWARDS are given to the best entries. All are already winers, but they are JUDGED for REWARDS.

Good Study, Amen

Away, then, with the use of such passages as II Timothy 2:24 and Matthew 7:1 merely as excuses for irresponsibility and for the criticism of those who seek to stand true to God and His Word. Let us rather consider prayerfully all that God says about judging, that we might truly please and honor Him.
And Amen

What is that?

Justice is an act of love, not an act of hate. Now you condemn me for speaking about justice. Because you're upset I don't take the discussion down "your" erroneous path. You throw a tantrum like a spoiled brat, make false accusations, and condemn me to hell on these false accusations. Not very christian of you.
