Ajaria, a pro-Russian province of Georgia, declared a state of emergency, and started mobilizing its troops against the CIA sponsored "democratic" Georgian government of Saakashvili, which complained about "human rights violations" in Ajaria, and positioned troops and tanks on the Georgian-Ajarian border. Ajarian tanks and troops were seen patrolling Ajaria's capital of Batumi today. The Russian military base in Ajaria has increased security precautions. The US said that it has no plans to get involved at this point.
