" How do you know God exists?
Did God create the Universe?
Did God create humans full sized?"
The questions are really only one question, since if God didn't exist he wouldn't have created the universe and humans. How do I know God exist? How do I know the spirit world exist? You can ask yourself, where does knowledge come from? Or who invented common sense, and what is life?
God made himself known to man, that's how I know he exists. If God didn't make himself known to man, no one would know he is. But there is recorded historical evidence of his actions and interactions with mankind, recorded in writing by the witnesses. That's how I know he is. The recorded evidence of direct eyewitnesses of God's actions and words with man.
Rejecting the bible because some people don't want to believe it doesn't make it less true. Once true, always true. Once false, always false. What is true cannot be made false by logic, reason or denial. And what is false cannot be made true by logic, reason or affirmation. Mohamette is not a prophet because he testified for himself, without witnesses that he spoke with an angel. God does nothing in secret, as he doesn't have to hide. God doesn't contradict himself from prophet to prophet. And since mohamette contradicts every prophet, then he is the liar, because truth is not established by the word of one man alone, that is the law.
Truth is established by two or three witnesses, and never by one man alone. And so the bible is the testimony of 55 witnesses, not two or three. So there is plenty of evidence for a man who seeks the truth. When analysing the bible and it's writing, it is important to have the proper definition of what constitutes truth in this matter. The bible is primarily a legal document, and it is binding on all mankind, therefore it must meet the legal standard and definition of truth. Not the scientific requirement of truth, though many scientific evidence is found within, not by historical evidence though many historical facts are found in it, not by philosophical definition of truth since this is purely hypothetical, but by the legal definition of truth. That is the proper way to understand the bible. Apostles were eyewitnesses, and they must be read with the understanding that they are recording for mankind what they saw and heard, knowing their words would be forever analysed and scrutinized, so they took particular attention to being exact, even though some small inconsistencies are found between each testimonies. Such inconsistencies are normal when evidence is compared. If all the testimonies agreed to the letter, that would constitute evidence of collusion and fraud, as such the inconsistencies add to the credibility, not detract to it.
Understanding and judging truth is difficult and that's why judges are appointed. When dealing with life and death issues, nto every man can be judges as some men are totally inept at descerning right from wrong, truth from lies, fact from fiction.
