I do not understand the "Clash of Civilizations" thing. Isn't that term used when referring to the conflict between east and west? Since both Greece and Turkey are NATO members and given Turkey's stance in the EU issue (i.e. at least in its willingness to join the EU), a conflict between the two countries can not be attributed to the Clash of Civilizations.

I know Warpdrive but when i read the article of the American Diplomat who has been Ambassador to greece and turkey and gave an explantion of the term then it made sense...Thats why along with this picture i have posted the article.You could read it it has some interesting points
