The Central VA Storm have added one more game to their 2005 schedule and are working on adding another one. The Storm will travel to Durham, NC to play the Triangle Rattlers of the SEAFL on July 9th. The Storm is working on a home game for July 2nd at City Stadium, the hope is to play crosstown rival the Crimson Cardinals. The invitation has been extended and we are just waiting for the reply before pursueing other avenues.
There will be no game on July 2nd. The Cardinals have turned down the invite and refuse to play us. We are sorry the opportunity to showcase minor league football in Lynchburg has passed but we will move on. The schedule is now set with 11 games as we compete for league, regional, and National championships!

just curious why the cards turned down this game seems like 2 teams in the same city should be able to play and it would be a good thing for lynchburg. i know there has been a lot of trash talked between these teams but when it comes down to it the players on the teams get along. its a shame this can't happen.
