Well, Romania was never part of the Ottoman Empire, but a vessal state, so Turks didnt interfere that much with Romanians with our church, our traditions. So I guess one can speak about a mutual respect between Ro/Tr during history. Economic ties are very strong now, also cultural ties are gradually improving. I wouldnt call this Turkish-Romanian relation love, but certainly friendship.
