Rcv'd the watch today...very fast shipment, got it within 10 days. I must say, I am quite impressed with this watch relative to the price. The leather quality of the band is not the greatest, and it does look rather cheesy in brown, but the watch itself is really nice. Maybe I should have gone with the black band, I dunno...bands are replaceable, though a new one will probably cost at least half as much as I paid for the whole thing! Finish is nearly flawless, except there are a couple of micro-sized dimples just above the 11:00 marker (on the "flat" part below the bezel area) that were apparently too deep to polish out.I'm sure I'll make more scuffs just by wearing the thing, so I'm not going to get too broken up about that. The domed (supposedly synth. sapph.) crystal gives a nice magnifiying effect. Movement "looks" at least as good as the average Seiko 7s26, maybe even finished a little better. I unscrewed the crown and gave it a few winds to get it running, the winding action felt nice and smooth and the crown screwed back in easily. Mine is labeled as #88 of 250. I think they're sold out as I don't see them on the website any more. If I continue to have good luck with this one, I see myself getting more Alphas in the future...
