| Canadians that served in America's War of Vietnam, were either dual citizens by nature of their birth or Canadians who wanted to fight illegally in the U.S.Military and they too didn't lose their Canadian Citizenship either,or Jailed for that matter!
It seems that it all depends on the Govt, of the day or the "backers" of the Op.
Great Book to read is: Fortune's "Warriors"ISBN 1-55059-744-5. by a Canadian formerly served with the Royal Canadian Regt,.(James R. Davis)Author of the Sharp End.
He describes in great detail the differences' between military "advisor" and a tried and true "Merc". |
