Okay so I see both sides and totally understand what each is saying. I too have probably jumped on the bandwagon of buy a book. Perhaps I was too fast to jump on and I totaly understand what people are saying. Not everything is in a book and nothing is like having a original piece in your hands or your collection that is shown here, yes including the backs, or in a book. I guess everybody needs to take a deep breath and go to there corners on this one. Yes books are valuable resources I do advocate buying them when available. I also feel that certain people here who have more knowledge than others should share it. Dwayne H or Bill A know cloth. They should share that information when possible. Ed S you know equipment, Joe S knows WW1 and that is putting it nicely. We all have our expertise or areas of knowledge. Option A; This can degenerate into what army.ca has become or Option B; we can all get along and share the knowledge of what we know or don't know. I think we should take option B but that is just my opinion.
