| My first reaction to any quantity of dyed jackets coming on the market is Theatrical. That is original jackets dyed black for some sort of movie use.
Britain did pattern seal Dark Blue Jackets of the same cut as regular SD jackets as emergency jackets in 1915 but these are extremely rare (actually not too collectable either) and not manufactured in any great numbers.
