Response to More use...

There were lots of Smocks made. After D-Day, piles of mutilated smocks were also turned in and replaced. This includes, according to 1CPB records, those smocks that were cut up for specialized purposes such as snipers etc.

It is also interesting, that although SOE camo suits existed in large numbers, teams preferred the Denison for obvious reasons. They were worn by all nationalities operating as part of Special Force / Special Projects.

Smocks were also worn in India by the Indian Airborne.
