In the 70s I wore the Brigade of Guards colours as my cravat. My understanding is that most cravats were made in the same design/colours and of the same material as the regimental tie.
I remember buying an ascot at CFB Valcartier in 1970 made of cam parachute material (as shown above) as well as a reversible one which was CF Green onone side and OD614 (combats) on the other.
