Response to Crusade
I don't think anyone wants to start a crusade, only that the inappropriate activity be taken someplace else. No one here said that the French shouldn't express their love for one another, just that they don't do it at Vimy. They have a whole country they can use. The issue here is not whether or not public fornication is right or wrong, it's whether it should take place at an important public memorial for the deceased. Vimy is essentially a grave yard. I don't think too many people would think that sex in a graveyard or church yard is appropriate. But in the end we are all free to have and share our opinions because of those people being honored at Vimy. Doesn't that deserve a bit of respect?
