Canadian US M1 Type II Parachute Helmets

This is the standard US M1 Type II Parachute Helmet in unmodified form, I believe that these were used in Canada as this came from Canadian stocks.



This is a Canadian modified US M1 Type II parachute Helmet, the difference is in the fastening mechanism for the chin-cup. The US version above uses a bar with eyelets where as the Canadian modification uses just the web slid through the buckle.
