Hi Gerry - I hope this link is still active, my friend Steve sent me this message a couple months ago and I'm just now getting around to responding! My grandfather's first cousin, Sgt. James Emmett Guerin (Canadian) served in the 1st Special Service Force and was killed in action in Italy in 1944. I have one photo of Emmett, taken shortly after his training and apparently his neice also has a photo of him before his training began - I will have to check with her to see if I can get a copy.
