Agent Orange

I was posted to Gagetown with 2 Sig Sqn during this time (summer 1966/67).

I now am afflicted with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)to which there is a link as evidenced by medical opinion.

A claim via Merchant Law (class action), a grass roots Gagetown web site, and communication to DVA were to no avail.A gratuitous $20,000 was allowed but only if proven carcinogenic cause was shown (leukemia, etc).

So, here I sit, puffer in hand 2X daily.

Thank you very much DND, Govt of Canada, DVA.

So much for 37 years service.
