Response to WW1 303 ammo crate photos & question

I have posted some photos of the crate I did next to an original which has a Canadian label on the top.
Please feel free to add comments or point out errors I may have made on the labels

The museum I made this for wanted it to look used but not 100 years old.
so the labels have been "roughed up" but not as bad as the original ones.

the trench clay/mud splatter looks ok but the wood stain I used was too close to the original box
I should have chosen a lighter color..oh well next time

PS. if anyone is interested, I\d be more than happy to post the labels here at higher res' for the members to use.

The original crate is the one on the right in the first photo

Thanks
Roger
