| A specialist collecting area is Canadian war service badges - lapel pins given to veterans by the Government and some private organizations to certify their war service and honourable discharge. The most common is that of the WW2 General Service pin. There is a first class reference titled "Canadian War Service Badges 1914 - 1954" by Robbie Johnson. Happy hunting.
