      Hi Mark,

      Thanks for a very informative answer. As a living history group we do the 8th Brigade of the third divsion: any changes of showing those serials?

      Next question: the marking of baggage by a number of coloured stripes: would the serial giving the colours be the original unit serial or the tactical serial as used on vehicles, roadsigns etc within a division etc.
      We, as Queen's Own Rifles living history group, have made up some road signs pointing to our unit, incl. a cut-out Jerrycan (german of course, as we do not want to damage the King's Property). Were we correct in assuming that this would feature the serial 60 on a green square?
