Very briefly:
I admit to being a rivet counter and details geek but I rather liked the production. Even with all it's uniform and details faults, Storming Juno is far superior to previous efforts like Dieppe or "Passiondale". The acting was ok, the actors (with the exception of haircuts) generally looked right and the dialogue worked. Battle sequences are very expensive and complex to produce and they carried it off quite nicely.
Canadian production companies don't yet have the experiance or the track record of U.S. or Brit companies but you learn by doing. Bit by bit History Channel and company are raising the bar.
