202 Infantry Ordnance Sub-Park

Hello,

The unit was formed in 1940 and arrived in the UK in December 1940. It was the supply unit for 2 Canadian Infantry Division (2 CID), providing clothing, repair parts, paint, and weapons of all types, among other things. It did not supply food, fuels or ammunition to units although it had full responsibility for ammunition at division level and above.

The unit went through a series of name changes* from 1940 till it was disbanded in 1945 but it was always the Ordnance unit of 2 CID.

I have a 202-signroad that was dugged up in the area of Zeist and Soesterberg in the Netherlands. Can anybody confirm that this unit spent time in this area after 5 May 1945?
