Pair of minty large size Canadian made 1944 dated Black Ammunition Boots. These are Canadian Army boots not RCAF/RCN. There is no foot imprint in these boots, and the soles show minute wear so I suspect that they were barely used. Complete with heal and toe cleats. Imprinted/Marked on the inside soles: ND over 25, A.E. Wry Standard, Amherst 1944, size 13 1/2. (A bit hard to read, but visible uner the right light). On the outside soles, imprinted ND over 25, E 13 1/2 (M) and below this, a C broadarrow stamp w a 25 below (located just fwd of the heals on the soles). Additionally the soles have a pattern (like wallpaper) with a continuous pattern of circles, each with a picture of a RAM and "watertight" underneath, surrounded with the logo: "PENATANG DRI BRIET". This pattern of stampings cover the complete sole fwd of the heal. Heal cleats are marked 11-13 and E.P stampings. Leather is in fine condition, no cracking etc, 7 eyelets. Laces appear are the correct flat laces. Boots are an exact match, they were issued together. These are an exception pair of original Second War rare Canadian made and issued boots.
