Would somebody be able to tell me what buttons were used on the front of an Algonquin Regiment coloured FS cap please? I have heard that they didn't use their own specific buttons until after WW2. I've had a reproduction FS cap made and would like the corect buttons to go on it.

Hello Tom, You have been informed correctly. The Algonquin Regt did not acquire regimental buttons until well after the Second World War. The correct button for the CFSC would be the general list pattern.
