Hello all,
Having searched through the previous posts on the subject of the high-leg assault boot (invasion boot, 3rd Div boot etc), i'm struggling to find out exactly what the scale of issue was for the 3rd Division on D-Day.
Do such records exist to show who got them and if everyone in a certain battalion got them?
Sorry for asking an oft-asked question but as I said, the search function doesn't tell me the answer and i've drawn a blank on my own research.
