I took a look at the Tilley website on the off chance there may be some clues there.

I noticed this during my browsing:

The tag line talks about how it is not your grandfather's army jacket, but was inspired by it.

I only stopped wearing mine a few years ago, or so it seems.

Grandfather's!

Technically, I suppose they are correct.

Biggest thing to notice is that they are charging over $300 regular price for a knock-off of the old Wrangler-style combat jacket that most were, I think, happy to dispense with in favour of CADPAT...

Since when did the OG107 Combat Jacket become Tilley stylish? I feel old as this Jackets type was issued to me when I joined in 1978.
