Seeking any that would have served with my Dad UN Peacekeeping Egypt 1965-67

Seeking information about my Dad and his service. He was a member of The Black Watch of Canada and took part in the U.N. Peacekeeping Mission Eqypt/ Gaza strip 1965-67. I would love to find others that served during this time, or who were members of Black Watch or anyone who was a part of this mission who may have photos and or information or may have known my Dad.

Thanks in advance!

My father's name was Jim Wahlman. Thank you for asking. I'm sorry I did not include this in my query.

You could try posting your request on The Black Watch forum under the 'Meet and Greet' thread.

It doesn't get much traffic but you could get lucky.

Cheers,
Dan.

Hello,

I would highly suggest reaching out to the Armory in Montreal. Their Veterans association is run by a large number of veterans from this time period.
