The G's I was refering to was on the corner of Union and Bijou next to the (what was then called) Colorado Springs Cablevision and I believe Recycle Records was close also.
I went to the one that was on Academy that is now the Steaksmith and to the Depot downtown, in fact when I was visiting last summer I went to the Depot. The Garlic Bread and Pizza are not the same. G's East was still my favorite. The beer however, was still good.
After getting by the ID checker it was usually the beginning of a great night in the springs.
