Would the UA 150 be out of the way?

November 3 2006, 3:37 PM

Does the Cooper 1-2-3 cinema building on Nevada Ave. still exist? Rustic Hills shopping center would be interesting to see again to see if anything sparks our memories.
I know there's more.....lemme think.

Photos of Wasson High today?

November 3 2006, 4:47 PM

I was hoping to reminisce about Wasson High, my alma mater, at some point; photos of the school today would be welcome. (As I have time, I'll try to figure out how to post images, too.) And since I've mentioned Washington Irving Middle School (Junior High), that might be useful, too. Thanks, Phil!

Oh, I knew lots of kids who went to Mitchell...

... in fact, my claim to fame, is that I once -- and ONLY once -- stopped the great Terry Miller at the line in a C-squad football game. The rest of the time he ran all over us.

Ski Broadmoor!

November 5 2006, 2:54 PM

I think we discussed this before Phil. I went there almost every Friday night after school with my buddy Scott. Yes the snow was rough and it barely, if at all, covered the rocks, but it was skiing and for a high school kid with no money, affordable. What a cool little evening getaway that place was for us wannabe ski bums. Is the alpine slide still in operation there?
