...Ordered a Big Red pizza and everytime I return, I order the same. It's still on the menu with those big ol' tomatoes right on top! Had one this September but I had to wait 'til my number came up on the mirror.
I will tell you this...make sure you take CASH when eating there! Because that is all they accept! I took my yearbook class there one year for lunch ... about 20 kids. I had my checkbook to pay the $100 dollar plus tab and guess what? CASH only!
So between myself and the kids, we came up with the cashola. But you can imagine the ribbing I took by that bunch of 13 and 14 year olds for the longest time. I should have made them do dishes!
Of course, being the business men we are now with pockets filled with Franklins, it wouldn't be a problem now...
The now have an ATM machine. Credit cards eat into profits as well as bounced checks. Their food is pretty reasonably priced. We go there on occasion as its right by my work. Salad bar is cheap and pretty good and even a sandwich or individual pizza is not all that much.
That would have been funny watching all those kids washing dishes. You say year book staff, did you teach school?
Yes, I taught middle School English (now called language arts) at Challenger MS (formerly named Air Academy Junior High School). After about a total of 20 years, I left to pursue other ventures. And that is what I am doing now.
Good to hear that Fargo's now has an ATM ! Sure would have helped that day when I almost freaked out wondering how I was going to PAY that bill!
Well I don't see any pictures of the inside whaaa and GASP

It opened in 1973, started by two fellows, at least one of which was from St Joseph, Missouri, about 60 miles north of Downtown Kansas City, (where I live now, ironically.) At least some of the stained glass is from St Joseph, MO, as well.
It was probably the last place we ate before moving away in August 1974. I ate there again in April 2006, and it was quite nostalgic.
Most of my interest in this discussion board, however, is the Manitou Incline.
