Had electric shocks from faulty light switch and losing memory? Call a psychiatrist....

Maintenance done, still having problems?

Response to Electrical problems? Call a psychiatrist - he'll send an ECT nurse around...

He'll assure you that the wiring circuits in your home are fine and your memory loss must be due to the doors on your kitchen wall cupboards which are too low and probably banging your head from time to time when you open them.  You wouldn't remember them doing so because - as you've just told him - you have memory loss.

"...It is also hard to know whether a patient's subjective report of memory problems represents a true side effect of ECT; whether the patient is still slightly depressed and thus subject to depression-related memory problems; whether memory problems may be due to medications prescribed after ECT; or whether the person is simply hyper-focused on memory problems. Thus, it isn't always clear that ECT is the cause of the memory complaint..."
