Thank God this subject is being discussed.
The fact is that DoCS is removing children from good, loving and wealthy families, (not just families with severe problems) because the parents do not agree with the psychiatric prescriptions. Unfortunately, false allegations and a hearsay Children Court makes this possible and tragic.
The hospital psychiatrists bring in DoCS so they can have a 'consenting parent' for their drug regimes. In most cases, their psychiatric medication regimes constitute an offence accordingly under S227 NSW Children's and Young Persons Care and Protection Act as children are immobilized and impaired by the psychotropic medications and develop severe allergic reactions and prescription induced suicidal and homicidal behaviors.
Often these kids are prescribed 6 drugs concurrently. The hospital psychiatrists do not practice any other form of 'treatment' other than pharmacology and snipe at nutrient medicine such as Metametrix even though the latter has a basis in true science. The drug companies fund hospital research and both sides of politics: and the taxpayer is paying public servant wages whilst the public servants kill their kids and many do die.
Much of children's behavioral problems in care are because the psychiatrist has given the kids a 'label' not a 'diagnosis' according to the deductive differential diagnostic method that involves rigorous investigation into an ailment. A psychiatrist is a physician and physicians practice rigorous deductive differential diagnosis but hospital psychiatrists do not. Layering of the drugs on the lack of proper diagnosis and the fact that most kids cannot metabolize the drugs and are fearful at separation from loved ones: produces the behavioral dyscontrol outlined in the article. No amount of counseling will fix an adverse drug reaction and bad medicine and bad public policy.
My message to DoCS is that: if they do not like children who behave badly in their care, then stop following the physicians who drug the children into behaving badly.
My message to the public: Read The Nazi Doctors by Lifton. I realize that nothing has changed about hospital psychiatry and it's interconnection with protection agencies since the gas chambers, wild euthanasia and the era of children administered the 'luminal dose'. Only a glossy face like "Head Space' or 'Beyond Blue' and a boosted Mental Health System lie in wait for the unsuspecting citizen."
