Response to Talented student killed himself after a routine operation - was the GA to blame?

Dr Anita Holdcroft, Professor of Anaesthetics at Imperial College London and a specialist in the adverse effects of anaesthetic, has called for the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to examine the risks of 'a suspected psychiatric reaction' with certain drugs, including fentanyl, Nalbuphine, propofol and nitrous oxide (laughing gas).
