Russian a/c crew uniforms?

I just finished Modelkrak's 1/72 Russo-Balt armored car last night and am happy with the way it turned out. I was thinking about putting it on a simple base with a Dark Dream Studio figure. They make a set of WW1 pilots with a nice Russian figure in a dress uniform. I think he would look good standing next to the car on the side of the road. The only problem I have is his uniform. I have the Russian-language book "Russian Armored Cars 1906-1917" which has a color plate of some uniforms. One figure has a standard tunic in khaki but has very dark green pants. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any descriptions in the test to explain why. I really need to buy the Osprey book but I haven't gotten around to it. Can anyone help me? Is the green really correct or should I go with an overall khaki uniform, pants and tunic?
Thanks in advance,
